Battery gauge is always reading 14V when I was using the car.

I then jump started the car using a jumpstarter without a hitch.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hello all,
I woke up today to a dead battery. Just picked up this car last Friday (its Weds today) and never had any issues. Battery gauge is always reading 14V when I was using the car. This morning, I unlocked via my fob and everything worked. Once I tried turning the key to on, I only heard one click and nothing happened. I tried bump starting it with the slope of my driveway but no luck. Later on I had to jump the internal fuse box to get the frunk open. I then jump started the car using a jumpstarter without a hitch. I drove the car for 15 mins or so, hoping that the alternator would help maintain the battery.
4 hours later, I came out to my car to go pick up my kids from camp, and everything worked just fine, like nothing ever happened. I thought I was in the green and just had a hiccup on my battery for whatever reason. I pulled into camp, turned off the car, locked it as I was walking away as I usually do. 6 mins later, I was back at the car with my kids (they fit in the backseat) and now the keyfob was completely dead again. Not to mention it was pouring rain. So I sent the kids back into camp so they dont get drenched and I jump started the car again. Luckily, I still had the jump starter with me and jump started the trunk and then the battery. We finally got home, but now it;s got me thinking what could possibly be the issue if the battery got drained in 6 mins of inactivity, while it did hold charge for the past 4 hrs of just sitting in my driveway locked.
Any guesses you guys may have as to where to even start looking for a solution? Thanks!
so here's an update... I noticed the negative cable was a bit loose, when I wiggled it pretty hard. So I tightened that up and the car was flawless for 2 days.
Then this morning, as I turned on the car, I saw PSM Failure and ABS Failure on my dash pannel. As I backed out of my parking spot and put it in 1st, my dumbass stalled the car. As I tried to restart it, there was absolutely no electrical whatsoever... almost as if I didn;t even put the key in the ignition. I got my jumper box out, open the trunk, and jump start the car, it goes with out a glitch. Doesn't seem to be an issue with the "loose" negative cable.... maybe the ignition switch? I would love to hear other's symptoms when replacing the ignition switch.
Thanks!
I will be doing this today. Will also try to see how the rear jump starting points in the engine bay look and see if it has poor grounding. hoping for an easy fix.
