Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just looking for anyone who has run the course and has notes as to what to do in each corner. (i.e., gears, weird turn-in's, Things to watch for!) I'm going this weekend and looking for some insight.

POST 2Original post

Did 4 days of PDE at Barber at the end of March, WOW what a facility, not a really fast track, you get to 105mph and its time to scrub speed to 50 or so, lots of heavy braking but very technical, for a 996 its a 3rd and 4th gear track. Go to the Porsche Driving site and theres a very good naritive for each section as well as a full in car lap video. <a href="http://www.porschedriving.com/the_track.asp#" target="_blank">http://www.porschedriving.com/the_track.asp#</a>

POST 4Original post

Colm- It was I who drove x-country and was in your group at Barber, May go back in Sept to do the masters again, just about the time things started to hook up it was time to quit, darm and it was so much fun, and I'd like to get the car to wiggle a bit more. Like David Murray said to me "Singing tires are happy tires" Short video of Hurley Haywood going thru turn two here: <a href="http://homepage.mac.com/wulff/iMovieTheater3.html" target="_blank">http://homepage.mac.com/wulff/iMovieTheater3.html</a> Orient Red-TRUNDLE.

POST 5Original post

Whoo hoo... Turn three is a hoot! Downhill braking, let the power push you out to the right.. don't worry, there's plenty of room as the track is 40 feet wide with generous runoff(s). 5 to 6 can get hairy if you carry too much speed in - plus it's tempting to look at the museum!! The downhill going into the pit straight is tricky... Rear engine cars "may" loose a bit of traction here... Enjoy!!

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for all the feed back!!!!!!!! I'm really looking forward to it....this sounds like a short version of VIR with a little Road Atlanta mixed in :-)
