CAn I swap out my cr 220 for a cdr 23? I have seen a pic of the back and it looks like the same back, but I was told that I can't because it uses the can bus? What is the real deal? Can I buy an adapter or something if it is different? Thanks.

That is what I have heard also. Do you already have the CDR23? Why not just get a CDR220 off eBay?

I made a deal to get it and actually paid, but then did the research even the the back looks the same because it was out of a 03 and I knew of the can bus. I am just going to go that route. It's a real bummer becuase I made the deal for the cdr 23 at 200 shipped !!!

Other than keeping a factory look, is there some reason that you want to pay for a $500+ head unit that has fewer features and less power than a superior unit like an Eclipse? I have the mercedes version of the CDR23 in my older benz, and while it looks good, I lament the fact that I spent so much money on a mediocre head. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" />

I was going to get it for 200 bucks- and yes I do want to keep the factory look.
