Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I think it looks good w/ the top down or w/ the aluminum hard top installed for winter duty.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

18 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

What is the best looking wing for a 996 Cabriolet? I am new to the 996s and dont have alot of knowledge about stock and aftermarket wings.

POST 2Original post

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

http://www.suncoastparts.com/product...ory_Code=996G1 Yes that is the actual price for OEM. If you want a rep, they can be found all over ebay.

POST 5Original post

any after market body shop... etc http://www.mashaw.com/html/product_info.html http://www.gettydesign.com/996_tailbases.html

POST 6Original post

I got this one for my 99 Cab. It's being painted right now. I got it from GT3TEK and it's a little smaller then the GT2 wing. Mounts over the OEM decklid after you strip the popup spoiler out of there. Quality isn't OEM but overall is OK, I just had to pay my painter a little extra for prep. It's a weight saver as well.

POST 9Original post

My favorite is ducktail, but haven't seen one with cab though...

POST 10Original post

I've too have wondered how a ducktail would look on a Cab. Any pics out there? I've seen a very small(ducktail only) pic of one for a 996 from mashaw.com... I think???

POST 11Original post

if you go over 75 mph doesn't a spoiler appear for free?

I think your car is one one of the ones I liked that led me to that style of wing for my cab as well, not too massive. The little basket handle wing my car came with just wasn't making it from an appearance standpoint IMO.

Sounds like a personal problem

After doing my own research here on Rennlist, I went w/ the OEM wing. How can you go wrong w/ Porsche factory parts? I think it looks good w/ the top down or w/ the aluminum hard top installed for winter duty. Most important, have fun w/ your search and get something you'll like.
