Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

17 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Some of you posters will like the fact that I have removed the P O R S C H E letters from the rear bumper of my car.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Quotes source post: 11196386

the P O R S C H E indication was not 'a sticker' but individual lettering.

POST 5Original post

Love the new look! Much cleaner now. Now the license plate...you dive?

POST 6Original post

I got rid of the Carrera badge. Looks cleaner and 10x easier to wash and wax. Everyone knows what the car is.

POST 7Original post

I thought the plates meant he had diverticulosis.

POST 9Original post

Hurdy good to see you finally came to your senses.

POST 10Original post

Curve illusion ? Or is the Carrera lettering crooked ?

POST 11 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yes I scuba dive and make diving films of our adventures. The Carrera part came as is with the car. Untouched. I added the 911. I have been asked many times "what make car" it was, so not everybody knows it is a Porsche in the USA. Not so in the UK and the European Continent, as the Porsche 911 is quite a common sight over there. This is how it was before I removed the PORSCHE letters.

POST 13Original post

It does look better without. Hurdi, did you have to bend the 911 numbers to get them to,stick properly to the curved part of the lid? Did they stick well?

POST 14Original post

You might enjoy this, Hurdi... it's a pic of me under 20 feet of ice. Sorry for the poor quality, I took a picture of the original with my cell phone. .

POST 15Original post

I did not mind the extra badging. I also thought the plate was missing some letters though.......MUF for example

POST 16Original post

I like it sans lettering too but if you liked it, that's more important! I am impressed though that you are so free to add and subtract from your ride, bravo on the courage!

POST 17 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Cuda.. love the ice diving photo. MY wife and I use dry suits for the quarry diving but not done any actual ice dives as yet. Actually passed our open water with PADI wearing dry suits during the winter months. We must be mad haha. Have you dived 'Dutch Springs' Allan town PA? Great viz owing to zebra muscle introduced into the quarry some 25 years ago. Lots of sunken attractions in there including a Swartski Chopper, plus WW2 hell cat fighter, single engine Cessna , Crane, lots of boats, cars, fire engine, school bus, etc. We have dived Bonaire, Cozumel, The Caymans, Galapagos, Bahamas, Dominica, St Croix, mainly live aboards with Peter Hughes, the Agressor Fleet and the Nekton when it was in service on live aboards. Sneaky Pete I dont know which I like the best, scuba or Muff Diving hahaha. Dinicod the 911 plastic letters are pliable and stick really well. They can be removed via a hot air dryer and dental floss.
