Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've been looking at semi solid mounts ... seems like RSS and Wevo are both good solutions @ roughly $400. I've also looked at Torque Solutions, which are available for about $80 - 100 less: http://www.torquesolution.com/Porsch.../ts-00-002.htm The only thread I could find on these is a couple years old. Is anyone using these? Good? Bad? Thanks in advance.

POST 2Original post

think I have decided to go with them for my car, should act the same as WEVO, RSS, and stiffer than the 964RS mounts...go with the 75A and not the 90A

POST 3Original post

i use them...way better than stock...I'm sure they're similar to wevo etc....btw you can get them way cheaper than that link...

Thanks for the info. Best I've seen them for is about $300 shipped, which is what got me interested in the first place.

POST 5Original post

Have you considered our OEM Engine Mount Upgrade ? Same results as aftermarket engine mounts, for considerably lower cost. Check out the threads on it below with some reviews! https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...rformance.html https://rennlist.com/forums/11177895-post40.html

POST 6Original post

I did the Function First engine mounts on our two 996's. My wife says it feels like a new car. Much better shifting and feels tighter. And at half the price of the others.

POST 7Original post

already have the T.S. 75A transaxle mount inserts...driveline won't be moving around much
