Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I replaced these with a set of OEM Springs/Struts from a '01 TT that I found here from a fellow Rennlist member since wanted to return my newly purchased car to OEM ride height.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have a set of Eibach TechArt Springs with original OEM struts all assembled with 20K miles that I took off my '03 C4S (Manual/Coupe) if anyone is interested. I am in Bay Area Northern California. These will fit C4S or TT chassis models from 2000 to 2005. I replaced these with a set of OEM Springs/Struts from a '01 TT that I found here from a fellow Rennlist member since wanted to return my newly purchased car to OEM ride height. I loved the look (30 mm lower) and handling on freeways and winding roads but was too stiff for a daily driver around town in my opinion and inclined driveways or speed bumps had to be approached with care. This suspension would be perfect for an occasional track car or weekend performance cruiser or someone who likes the slammed look and doesn't mind the stiff ride on bumpy roads. PM me or even better email me directly at [email removed] if interested and want to work something out. Steve
