This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Is this short shifter any good? IS it as good as the B&M. OR should I not waste my money? Tom

POST 3Original post

Any more feedback on the EVO shifter Vs. B&M? I have a shop in my area pushing the EVO. Quoted me $189 for teh shifter an an additional $400 to install. I told him he was crazy!!!

POST 4Original post

I have two, they work great but I have no basis for comparison to the B&M. I installed it myself. Roy

POST 5Original post

$400 to install? That sounds like a ripoff. You could buy the B&M for $280 and pay ~$200 (+/- $50) to install and still come out cheaper.

POST 6Original post

I will do it for half that price or better yet - pizza and beer. We shot a video of the B&M intall on a Boxster and a rough cut is on a dvd, and it is done the same way on a 996. I asked a woman Boxster owner to be the star of the video just to show you men how easy it is. Jeff <img src="http://www.986host.com/albums/ToolPants/DSC02104.sized.jpg" alt=" - " />
