PSE is superb, I can honestly say if I ever change my 911 the next one will have to have PSE too.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

19 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I had a 1999 C2 for 5 weeks, when a taxi driver pulled out of a side road and wrote me off. Given it was my first ever Porsche I was absolutely gutted. They say every cloud has a silver lining, and in this case they were right. Insurance paid out well, and I saved a little more and I bought this well specced 2002 C2. It has: - Sports Switchable exhaust - Hard Backed Sports seats with extended metropole leather - Nav (PCM1) - Bose Sound - Some small extra's such as white dials, alloy gear ****/surround It had 56k miles on the clock (back in may 2002), It now has 70k and I must say I still absolutely love it. With help and advice on here I've managed to fit a spoiler button to the dash, replace all the brakes, and I've not ordered some -30mm H&R springs (which just arrived today) I can't wait to get it lowered, full Geo, and for spring to bring it back out of the garage. Regards, Keith

Yes, It was one of the first things I fitted. It's the Parrot MKI9200 kit. I got it to enable me to bluetooth music to my system. It works really well for playing music from my iPhone. Keith

To the early 3.4? I think it feels like it has more torque. However I had an 8 week gap between cars, and a PDK boxster hire car in between so it's hard to tell. The standard sound systems in the 911 are very poor, so I was so happy to get the bose system as I love music. Keith

POST 6Original post

Cool. I driven both and really didn't feel any difference between the 3.4 and 3.6. With an exhaust mod and 200 cel cats you wouldn't need the Bose but I agree it does sound way better. Enjoy.

You have PSE, you don't need any Bose system :P

+1 fully agree on that 2003 Carrera 4S Speed Yellow / 1955 356 Continental 1500 Rust Red

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

It's a shame not a lot of 911's are spec'd with PSE, and a shame that in general it's tough to find one with the seats + bose + nav + PSE, as together they make the whole experience better. Will be fitting the H&R's on sunday Keith
