This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

Firebird, now Wild Horse Raceway is ready to race after almost full year of silence. Newly refinished strip and facilities are going live this Friday.
I will be at the strip with P-car, would be awesome if more Porsches showed up for the re-launch.

I'd like to see someone run the quarter in 13s as stated in the brochure. I have yet to see one.
Please make us proud and don't let them pesky Genesis coupes beat you.
I am going in with conservative "expected" time of 14.1 on my entry card. For the first run, I am definitely sitting in the 14.1 group to see where the car lands.
With tiptronic, I know that the entire race depends on me getting a good 60ft time. If I somehow power-brake it to squeeze a sub 2 second 60' I will be a happy camper.
My prediction for the runs would be 13.8-14.3 at 101-105MPH. I will post the actual slips so people who are curious can compare their runs.
I'm gonna say closer to 100mph or slightly under since tip tranny and 14-14.5 depending on 60ft times, greasy track, tires, etc.
Remember to disconnect your rear spoiler.
I know tips are perhaps slower in the 1/4 but 14's? I can hit 13's all day in mine stock so you in my mind will have to let off quite a bit near the end to not break into the 13's.
Well, this was rather disappointing. Over 300 cars showed up for the re-launch of the Firebird. I got to tech at 7PM and was told there were about 250 cars ahead of me waiting in the staging lanes. I sat in staging lanes for 2.5 hours while moving forward five car lengths as two cars blew their engines runs apart and sprayed the track with coolant/oil. No runs were made.
On the lighter note, during the tech inspection I had two gentlemen approach me. A guy in his 40s and guy in the 60s. There were the tech guys.
Guy in his 40s takes my tech card and asks me to open the hood
Why I ask? He says: to check your engine. Older guy says: Bob, this is a Porsche...the engine is in the back. Bob: Oh... Bob looks in bewilderment under the trunk cap while poking around with a flashlight, he asks if I have nitrous there or if there is a turbo attached. He clears me with "next time come back with car that has engine in the front, like I like them".
LOL.
