Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Have a lowered C4S with a GT2 aftermarket nose. It is very low to the ground, maybe 3 or 4"? Anyone come up with a lightweight ramp option? I could build something out of wood, but in the end it would be very heavy. I'd like something that I could drive both end up on. Maybe this is wishful thinking... 2003 Carrera 4S Speed Yellow / 1955 356 Continental 1500 Rust Red

POST 2Original post

Ramps for what purpose? Loading onto a trailer, a lift, getting into the air to work on it, getting in your driveway? Race Ramps makes a variety of low-angle, long, light weight ramps. I have a set I use to help load the trailer.

POST 3Original post

i was considering race ramps....but wasn't 100% sure if it would clear... my front is 3 to 4 off the ground also. I know it's heavy but i just made mine outa wood. 1 inch tall 12 wide. foot and half between each height bolted up 5 inches.

. In the air enough to squeeze under and work under the motor. Have a coolant leak, so it may be the pump. 2003 Carrera 4S Speed Yellow / 1955 356 Continental 1500 Rust Red

POST 6Original post

I would think a staged set of wood sheets would do the trick. What about a set of racing jacks and jack stands? Just a thought.

What jack are you using? Maybe upgrade to the low profile 2.5-2.75" jacks? I guess if you want a lighter(and cheaper) homemade solution, you can always drill "speed" holes in your 2x6 or 2x8 .
