After an entire saga at the dealership to enable the cruise control on my 2004 C4S, I decided to get a PIWIS III to enable it myself. Since messing around with the systems is not something to take lightly, looking for information on what settings need to be changed. I don't yet have the 6154 VAG to actually do anything, that should be a few more weeks....

Odd, there must be another related thread... yes. I did have some issues when the dealer tried to code. They restored the car to base configuration but said the cruise control couldn't be enabled on a German spec car that didn't have it. When my VAG came in, i got promising indicators but still no cruise control. Eventually discovered my positap to the fuse box wasn't perfect, and now i have cruise control. there, all caught up.

Let's see. If the menus are in English but the data in German, you have enabled the diagnostic mode (or something like that). Go back to the main screen and run in normal mode. There are two settings to modify, one for the cluster on one for the dme, but don't recall from memory exactly where beyond that. But if I could figure it out, I'm sure even a monkey could. If the cruise light turns on but nothing happens, check the fuse box connection.
