It runs mbus so you will have a hard time changing things as it's fiber optic I believe, but that might be just for the bose?

I know this year's model changes included a complete digital system - can the amp still be swapped out and is there an amp that will fit in the stock location (I want to use the stock mount)?

The car I am taking delivery of is an '03 carrera cabriolet that was taken from dealer stock. It is equipped with the hi-fi digital audio system. From what I have read on the board people have not been overly enthusiastic about the system. I know this year's model changes included a complete digital system - can the amp still be swapped out and is there an amp that will fit in the stock location (I want to use the stock mount)? Will speaker changes alone provide for an all around better sound? What are the sizes of speakers for the '03 cab and can they be easily swapped out?
