Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Code isn't an issue if you're a member of RennTech. You can obtain them there or from any dealer. Expect to replace the ***** at least as the rubber/plastic can and will go soft /sticky over time.

First try removing the Security panel - cleaning the contacts - and install. This may be all you need to FIX a 220 that is inoperable.
You can buy them all day long on Ebay. You can get them repaired reasonably at beckerautousa. They sell new ***** for $26 and you can get the code for any unit by calling them and having the s/n off the unit. I pulled out the aftermarket installed in my 996 and put the CDR220 back in. The after market looked like poop. I moved the climate control to the bottom and got the factory cupholders on Ebay for $100. It looks and sounds great.
