NB 996 doesn't have wide hips like the turbo and 997, so I'd love to see one running the Fuchs style wheels before splashing out.

I don't believe Fuchs are available for our cars. I have seen 19's but not 18's. You are talking about fuchs style from early 911's or mid-80's yes?

No one that I know of currently makes 18" Fuchs style wheels, but Hartmann makes a nice 19" version.

Fuchs Performance in CA makes them. No 996s in their image gallery, but if the 19" models fit a 997... http://www.fuchsperformance.com/gallery.cfm?wheel=3296 They ain't cheap!

Contact Hartmann wheels ( www.hartmannwheels.com ), AKA Achtuning. They have a 19" Fuchs replica that is much more affordable than the actual Fuchs, which are incredibly overpriced for a flow-formed wheel.

I see most of the fitments are 19" Those 19's on the 996 Turbo look superb. They also look great on the NB 997, but I'd just be afraid of spending �2k on wheels and tyres if they do not suit the NB 996. NB 996 doesn't have wide hips like the turbo and 997, so I'd love to see one running the Fuchs style wheels before splashing out. I might not be able to get them in NB fitment Keith
