Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

okay, I want to buy some back up fuses for the future.. i see prices way out of whack. 2 fuses for $3, a 25 pack for $3, 1 fuse for $7, etc... is there any difference as far as colors go? I know i need a regular fuse (not mini or max) and a 7.5amp... but here are some examples as to what I mean.. And can i use any generic brand fuse as long as it meets the amp requirement? POST 2Original post

Buy the kit with most fuses and one that is cheapest. All fuses are basically the same, some have fancy indicators for when they are out. I use harbor freight ones, got a lifetime supply for $10.00 or somewhere around that.

POST 5Original post

The brand doesn't matter. The ONLY suggestion I have is - at least on a car that eats fuses, like my Corvette - is to consider buying fuses that illuminate when they are blown. f'n awesome, those. Otherwise, a fuse is just a fuse. Replace the blown color with a new one that's the same color, and you're good to go.
