Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Purchasing a 2000 996 c4 coupe…unusual color combination. Forest green metallic/ Savanah beige interior. Car also has a factory aero kit, which I have never come across In a 996.
Would like to hear from anyone about the color combination and the rarity of the Factory aero kit?
Car did have RM seal and IMS done. I have the option of getting the car borescoped.
Would appreciate any input on what else to check for.
asking 54K with 40,000 miles.
Thanks for you input.

Taco coupe cars are the ones to own, in my humble opinion, they are just a beautiful profile and rare enough to be special add an unusual color and you have a winner👍 Good luck with the purchase post some pictures when available. My Guards Red early Taco.

Is it overpaying though? 996's have been a steal for a long time but the tide seems to be shifting for lower mileage nice examples, especially if XAA or any other unique options. Private seller or a dealer? Any pics? Green on tan is a great combo!
I have that color combination but no aero kit. It's less common than other colors but I don't think it's rare. There is someone a few blocks from me with the same color, though his is a coupe and mine is a cab. It's an odd color. It looks completely different in sunlight and shade. At night it looks black.
What an awesome car! Im partial to green, especially on 911s. That is a very rare combination based on what Ive gathered about 996s. With only 40k miles and all the right maintenance already done, you can enjoy that car for 3-4k miles a year for 5 years and it will still be worth $50k+.
