Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

 • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Recently, I bought a Ruf exhaust from a fellow boarder. After installing it this past weekend, I finally got to hear it for the first time. You can hear it here: RUF exhaust (Sorry about the jerkiness in the video at the beginning.) The tone is really nice, and is definitely louder than stock, but not intrusive at all. There is no resonance whatsoever. I was, however, hoping for a louder exhaust - something that my wife would just barely tolerate. To that end, I've begun searching for a replacement. If anyone is interested in taking the RUF off of my hands, please let me know and I'm sure we can work out a good deal for both of us. Enjoy the sound clip, and let me know if you're interested! Thanks, Chris

POST 2Original post

I might be interested, but I have never heard the Ruf mufflers in person.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Nick, The sound is really unique - a little bassier and louder than stock at low RPM's, and at 3.5k and above it takes on a really mechanical "Whirrr" tone. Check the movie that I linked in my original post. Thanks, Chris

The exhaust is for sale: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33636&item=2410055817&rd=1 Thanks, Chris
