Searching the multitude of posts and various pages on the internet, I am having difficulty narrowing down the proper location of the sensor to test and possibly replace/repair.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

So after replacing spark plugs and injectors at 164k miles, I noticed that there was some wire chafing on the connectors on the left and right side of the engine. I failed to take pictures, but the offending wires on the right hand side of the engine (as installed) are illustrated in this post
https://911uk.com/porsche/oil-leak-v...lenoid.110798/
There was also one on the left side of the engine as well, similar location. I sealed up the chafing with liquid electrical tape, but am now getting an intermittent P0348, either pending, or it occasionally fires the CEL.
Searching the multitude of posts and various pages on the internet, I am having difficulty narrowing down the proper location of the sensor to test and possibly replace/repair.
On the 3.6L motors, is the bank 2 camshaft position sensor on the gearbox facing (car position forward, engine position rear), or is it located near the power steering and or a/c compressor?
As always, I greatly appreciate any help received.
Additional info:
I did have to lower the engine to replace the fuel injectors.
Follow up question:
If the bank 2 sensor is not on ROW cars, other than flashing the DME, what are the differences that would convert a US motor to a ROW motor?
Thanks for the help! I just ordered two new CPS incase the wiring is good (I'm hoping so, since the CEL will clear and then seems to stay off for the remainder of the drive). I'm assuming the bank 1 is opposite (or maybe that's the one near the rear bumper on the left).
The car does seem to have a slow start, cranks for 5+ seconds and then fires up. The starter is at normal speed (I just did the starter/alternator cable this past year).
Thanks again!
More update: PIWIS III shows CPS 1 with voltage (I should have recorded it, but it varies with Engine RPM). CPS2 has 0.00 voltage always. Clearing the DTC for CPS2 causes an increase in RPM and percieved smoothness, but the DTC immediately reappears. Not sure if the Instrument Cluster 9110 (DME Control Unit - no signal) is releated. I also have the following:
ABS - 4340 - Brake Switch A Circuit - Open Circuit (possibly LED light related)
ALARM SYSTEM (I48) - 49 - K Line, short to ground; 54 - Radio receiver faulty
Air Conditioning - 35 - Interface with instrument cluster (See instrument cluster FM); 29 - Outside air/recirculated air motor
Found it! Apparently the sensor has to be plugged in to work. It must have disconnected during the fuel injector replacement. The clip is definately broken, so it doesn't snap, but a zip tie has fixed that issue.
Remember to check your connections before removing any parts.
Just being a tad facetious. Now to attack the P0302 - Misfire Cylinder 2 issue. I should have replaced the coil packs while in there instead of just the plugs.
