Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Sorry for my nubie ignorance, but this car looks like it has been lowered to me. Or am I wrong? If not, are there any disadvantages to that beyond hitting the air dam on driveways?

POST 3Original post

It does appear to be lowered and have larger wheels than stock sizes.

POST 4Original post

Downside is that the ride will be rougher, since there's less suspension travel to soak up bumps. The upside is that it looks bitchin'.

POST 5Original post

If it's a 40th anniversary edition, the side grills have been replaced with black ones as well. Originals are silver like the rest of the car. Does look lowered but it looks like it's done right and not too much as long as those wheels don't rub the fender wells. Also if it's a 40AE, you're going to want to hunt down the original wheels as they are really rare. I really like the wheels it has installed but you would want the originals just to have for originality's sake. If it is a C4S then disregard, the color just looks really similar to GT Silver in that photo.

POST 6Original post

I don't think that's an actual 40th AE based on the lack of GT3 rockers. Probably a modded (nicely done) C2 with a turbo bumper.

POST 7Original post

It's a C4S, notice the brakes and side skirts. And yes, it's been lowered a little bit.

It's not quite as cool as my car, but what a beauty.
