Also, which suppliers would you recommend I contact for the nose and rear bumper?

I believe they use Burrard Autostrasse in Vancouver to paint and install the bumpers.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hello,
Here is my first post on this tremendous discussion board!
After a 18 months of Porsche abstinence, I have succumbed and purchased a new 996 C4 Cab.
Like other posts I have read on this board, I was able to negotiate a pretty nice discount off of sticker. ($7,000 including a free hardtop)
I want to try and beef up the appearance of the car. It has standard Porsche five spoke wheels, and I would like to put on RUF wheels, as well as the C4S Coupe style nose and tail.
What do you all recommend...18" or 19" wheels? Also, which suppliers would you recommend I contact for the nose and rear bumper?
Thanks in advance for your assistance!
I think Weissach in Vancouver, BC can help you. They are the Ruf dealer and I have seen them modify a cab into a c4s style car sans the wide body flares. I believe they use Burrard Autostrasse in Vancouver to paint and install the bumpers. Burrard can get you the OEM Porsche c4s bumpers and paint and install them. The work Burrard does is craftsman quality and I have heard that it is cheaper and better for Americans to ship their cars there and get the work done. Shipping is less than US$1000.
Weissach recommends the 19" Ruf wheels but I have yet to pull the trigger on my c4s.
Well, NC welcome to the best Porsche Forum in the world!
Regarding your new Cab, I'm sure you'll get lots of answers, but here's my $.02.
Get 18" wheels rather than 19s. I understand from other posters that there is so very little sidewall you can damage your wheels more easily on curbs, etc.
Regarding nose and tail. It's a personal preference thing. In my case I orderd the rockers and tail when I ordered the car. My Turbo nose is factory purchased privately.
You will find most everything you want for mods using Rennlist sponsors. I've worked with Gert Carnewal at www.carnewal.com I've also worked with Suncoast Porsche, just to name a coouple. I've had so many little things done I've lost count. However, the Turbo nose, side skirts, and tail are all factory. My preference in wheels is 18" sport design. I just think they have a classic look.
Welcome again!
