Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I am running N-rated Yoko 315/25's on the rear (which are not NA spec'd yet but you can get them from By Design or Carnewal) and 235/35's on the front (Tire Rack carries them).

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just ordered 19' HREs with 8 1/2f and 10 1/2r for my 1999 C2. What size/brand 19' tires would you recommend? 235 or 245 vs 285 or 295. This C2 is my daily driver and I would like a nice mix between comfort and longevity.

POST 2Original post

IMHO, Get a set of 18 inch wheels. My car is my daily driver and there is no way I would go bigger than 18. You will either bend the rim or be so miserable with the ride you will throw them away. But.... if you already ordered them than get the biggest badass tire you can fit without rubbing. (although I cant tell you which one that is) HTH Dave

POST 3Original post

I went from 18"s to 19"s last fall. I have not bent a rim and don't find the ride at all objectionable, and I am in California, home of the worst roads on the planet (but your results may vary). I am running N-rated Yoko 315/25's on the rear (which are not NA spec'd yet but you can get them from By Design or Carnewal) and 235/35's on the front (Tire Rack carries them).

POST 4Original post

I beg to differ on what city gets the title of "Worst roads on the planet". I truly think New York has you beat. I bent 2 18" rims on potholes on the belt pkwy in NY at highway speed. 19's in Atlanta should be fine though. No inclimate weather to damage the roadways.

POST 5Original post

Bogot used to have far more potholes than either NY or California. Right now, Baghdad seems to be a good candidate for the trophy...

POST 6Original post

William, Butler in Marietta has Yoko's in stock, I just bought a set. If you go that way give Bob Angel a call at Butler, [phone removed]. Good luck Roy

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post
