Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just had a muffler delete done at my local shop (Muffler Tech in Sacramento, Ca.) Not in love with the tips, but they are resonated...sounds fantastic!!!!!!!! You Tube

POST 2Original post

Are you a CHP officer Kirkwood? You know that with those pipes LEO will be giving you their 2nd favority BS ticket. First one being the tint

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yessir...and true re: decibel level of exhaust. Bypass pipes are WAY too loud for the street, but SCCA season starts @ end of March, so I'm prepping the car now...don't really drive it during winter. Plus, its easily removable and can be swapped back and forth w/ ease. I'll probably put the muffs back on if I drive to and from events...leave em on if its trailered. On a side note, I've never written a ticket for loud exhaust...I'm a car enthusiast, not a hypocrite. Ps. First favorite ticket is "no front plate"...then "tint"...

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Lololololol.....I was inside the car...and yes, that's the first thing I thought of when I watched the vid later.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

...I took this video at the shop right after the install (before the other vid)...while the tech was inside the car :-) You Tube

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

...now I'm really dazed and confused ;-) Thanks Miller

POST 10Original post

The tips aren't bad. The rest of the car certainly looks great. FWIW I've only been pulled over for the bypass exhaust once, and I was doing a 5th to second downshift braking for a stoplight directly in front of an unmarked car on my way to work in the pitch black one morning. I didn't get a ticket but the policeman did enjoy having a look at the car. This is in Florida though, where most LEO probably have a different attitude towards stuff like this than they do in Kalifornia.
