Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I would have loved all of you guys to come over my side of the world and check the reactions of the people here!!
Leading evidence: 'Check reactions of the people here' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check reactions of the people here' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Still not sure about that 2003 GT-3 spoiler though.
I got my 03 c4s in late January and I have noticed that I get a lot more stares and glares in that car than I did in my c2 cab.
I would have thought that a cab would get more attention. Any comments or experiences from all you P-car drivers?
Look at the "911 outline" graphic on the post reply button on this screen. It just wouldn't work if it were the outline of a cab because the roof line is, in my opinion, a signature part of the 911 line.
I think most casual observers look at a cab and think "beautiful convertible" - I think a great deal more will recognize the roof line (whether it's a '71 911T or an '03 GT3) and think "oh wow -Porsche!" - hence, the extra attention.
I think color makes a big difference. I had a 00 Cab that was Silver/Black. I traded for a 02 Seal/Gray Cab. I get a lot more stares in the seal car than I ever did in my silver car.

We noticed the difference the first time we put a C4S in our showroom.
It was January last year. We received our first C4S (sold of course) in Arctic Silver with Black interior. It didn't have very many options, just Bose, Bi-xenon, and heated seats.
Parked next to it was a new Carrera Coupe, Guards Red, black interior, LFared ROckers, Carrera tail, Sport exhaust, 18" Carrera alloys, Guards red seatbelts and stitching, aluminum package. This thing was loaded and impressive looking.
People would look at the Red coupe, then the C4S, then the Red coupe, and they would actually say to us, "The red one's kind of plain isn't it?"
I was floored! Here was a hot red car with tons of red and aluminum accents, spoilers, sport seats, etc., and people thought it looked boring compared to the C4S.
We don't like putting C4S's next to 996s anymore.
I would have loved all of you guys to come over my side of the world and check the reactions of the people here!! Everytime I go out with my 996 i feel like 'the world is not enough!!'

I think that Porsche really got the C4S styling "right." The big hips & body width rear reflector (along with the roofline of course) are classic Porsche styling traits.
I love the rear reflector; it reminds me of the 993 design. It would be nice if Porsche integrated it into the entire 996 line, IMHO.
Greetings all. New member, first post but have been reading a while. Great board and very nowledgeable people here. It's a pleasure to ready what you guys post. Very informative.
At first I was thinking about getting a 2003 C4S (I just love the look of this car) then I started reading about the GT-3 and now am thinking perhaps that's the car to get. True they are quite different and I would be getting the GT-3 for the performance or the C4S for the comfort and AWD etc. That is if I have a shot at a GT-3.
Anyway the odd thing is I was looking at some pics of the GT-3 (from the rear) and something just wasn't right. So I opened photoshop and oddly enough put a C4S rear reflector behind the GT-3 badge. I thought it looked great. Still not sure about that 2003 GT-3 spoiler though. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />
I think it's a combination of the turbo nose, rear reflector strip and the fact that it's a widebody. Everytime I see one, I find myself staring....it's a rolling work of art!
The only knock on the C4s is the unpainted older profile rear bumperetts. They can easily be painted but you never know for sure how the color match will turn out and the protruding shape is not as nice (in my opinion) as the 2002 and later flatter rounder type found on the C2s.
