Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have developed a slow leak on the drivers side in front of the engine bank. Any ideas where this is coming from ?

POST 2Original post

Possibly the solenoid above by the look of it.

POST 3Original post

How old is the AOS ? the 1999 has a rubber "bellows" that connects to the head that will leak and run down to that area.... To see it you have to get way under and in front of the rear tire and look "over" the cross member...

The UAOS "Vortex" has a Lifetime warranty on it and the little rubber "bellows" has a 2 Year Unlimited Mileage Warranty and if it is the bellows that is the source of the small leak it is available seperatly and easily replaceable.. Just take a good picture from underneath looking back at the engine and over the crossmember.....That is not a serious leak but needs to be sorted..

POST 7Original post

The wetness is coming from the top of the engine and running down the front where the red circle is......Need to look under the intake to find the source... The red "X's" is the UAOS Vortex Housing and the rubber bellows....which are very dirty ( been doing their job a long time) but are not the origin/source of the leak....

POST 8Original post

I'm thinking more like the oil fill tube O'ring, or the "Uniseal" on the oil fill pipe is leaking a bit on top of the engine and finding its way to front or back of the engine before Gravity pulls it downward...
