Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

thanks to everyone who offered pricing advice in my earlier thread.. went to the dealer today and after a test drive we negotiated the dealer is notorious for not giving good deals but after some work we got 5.5k off of msrp.. we ordered a 2003 911 C2 6-speed Lapis/Metropl power/heated/supple leather seats bi-xenon auto dimming mirror/rain-sensor 18" sport design wheels w/ color crest PSM will be a while before it gets here though... does anyone know of any places that rent manual cars? I am find but my father hasn't driven manual in about 30 years and he would like to re familiarize himself before the car gets here thanks in advance

POST 2Original post

Congrats! The waiting will be worth it (can tell you this for sure after having my car just over a week)! Good to see you've put some options on it ;-) I have some of the same options on my car. Auto dimming mirrors work great (better than Mercedes), as do the rain-sensing wipers (can't live without these already); bi-xenons are wonderful; supple leather seats are some of the most comfortable you can get on any car.
