Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Leading evidence: 'Use rennlist' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Use rennlist' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

They did a feature on the car before I started ripping into it. They will be updating it once the car is finished being put under the knife. I will start a build thread here shortly about it but always good to see some 996 exposure. Don't get too excited, its just a readers rides write up.
Long live the 996!

Awaiting
997 GT3 front
GT3 RS rear decklid and wing
GT3 third front radiator
New track pads and rotors
New forglines with NT01's
CAE shifter
997S header that will attached to my own fabbed up bypass.
new custom intake airbox (carbon) and intake.
supercharger eventually if a good deal on one pops up...
Actually I wanted a 996 but I personally prefer the MKI fronts, idk why I am maybe one of the only ones on here like that, and you can't really get a MK1 gt3 here in ohio. I also wanted an AWD version so this is me making an AWD version of a gt3 more or less. It will never be a GT3 but I hope to make it quicker than one.
Yea, build threads are my favorite to follow. Thanks!
Will definately. Right now it is just a matter of waiting on parts.
The bumper is in and I have done some cleaning and minor things like the 997 headers but mostly just waiting on parts.
The mkI headlights have started to really grow on me lately, I've found myself looking at mkIs a lot recently. Went and checked one out during my lunch today, in fact.
It's a '99 with 88k miles. No maintenance history, but the car is exceptionally clean and I know the previous owner was a PCA member, so I'm pretty confident in the mechanical condition.
The biggest issue with the car is it is that horrible beige/gold color that belongs on a Camry. However, for the price I may get it at, I can live with the color.
Deep gold??? I'm skeptical!
To each their own, and there is no right answer, but in my opinion, when you start going drastic on the wheels, it takes away from the overall car! What I mean is, you don't want people to only see your wheels, and not notice everything else you've done. BTW - your current wheels rock!
But, you have a great looking car right now, so I may end up loving what you do, you obviously have good taste!
I'm aiming for a version of "poor man's GT3" myself, but in AWD (sorry, haters ... but it doesn't push on the track like you think!). A GT3 in the right hands is still faster, but I pass a LOT of them in the wrong hands on the track :-).
I can't tell if your saying the AWD is good or bad for the track? From a comfort and stability standpoint it is definately good but from a standpoint of drivetrain loss it obviously isn't...
not sure...
All I'm saying is, it's what I bought -- didn't have track aspirations at the time -- but I've come to love it in spite of the conventional wisdom re: AWD on the track. Sure, it pushes a little, but I get through the corners plenty fast.
