Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Leading evidence: 'Replace on my end' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace on my end' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

here's the answer from Jhon D.
I made a copy from the 993 forum.

Hi Folks....
First - yes - I wasn't actually playing with the servers, but rather the connection earlier today - as throughput was TERRIBLE!!!! What I found is that it isn't me or my ISPs, but rather the Slammer worm is taking a LOT of bandwidth through pokes into networks (ours included). Anyway - I'm as frustratated by all this as you are....
For that - and see the ADMIN announcement in the near future - I signed an agreement today to essentially double my network bandwidth into the Internet backbone. In the near future, you should see some vast improvements in the site speed;
At the same time - I'm upgrading my internal network, servers, routers, hubs, etc. I think you'll like the enhancements that they offer - but it should nearly double my internal communications as I move to GB nets internally.
Anyway - early last week I was dialed in on a 56Kbs connection - and things looked pretty good!!! This week - it has fallen off the map...?? And nothing changed on my end.??? I'm inclined to believe that it's not the site - but the communications that many ISPs are trying to deal with right now - but for that, I'll be upgrading this network in any event. You folks deserve the best - and by God, you are going to have the best....
Thanks for you support and patience..!

I had noticed a change in speed when the first animated avatar's started being used. -and I surf through part of an OC3 line!
I wonder if the novelty of the animation is worth slowing the load time of the pages; especially for the Rennlister's in other countries who may have slower connections and pay by the minute for their internet access.
