Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

As I am using my P-car less frequently, I was wondering about attaching the porsche battery to a trickle charger that my friend has for his motorcycle (which he stores in my garage). Any thoughts or things I should look out for? Thank you

POST 2Original post

Buy the Porsche charger that goes in the lighter

POST 3Original post

I agree with Alan The Porsche one works great. Remember to check the fluid level in your battery after extended use tho. Mike

POST 4Original post

I also agree. Costs about 50 bucks from rennlist sponsors. One thing though...the wires are very fragile. they become brittle and crack easily after repeated winding and unwinding...and don't think because they are thin you can close the door or window on the wires without damaging them..(duh)

POST 5Original post

I got one free with both my 99 Boxter tip and my 02ttX50. If you bought your car from a dealer, why not just ask him for one? By the way, I have not had a problem running the wire under the door and fully closing it. AS

POST 6Original post

BMW also has one that plugs into the lighter. Cord seems flexible enough... I close the window on it!

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks, guys. I bought the charg-o-mat from my local dealer. It was $80 and he through in some porsche plastic window sauce.

POST 8Original post

Sounds awesome; anyone got a picture of one? Thanks.

POST 10Original post

Here's a hint about the sauce... A Porsche convertible owner will sing:"I can see clearly now..."
