Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
13 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

I'm posting this here to share my pictures and so I know who to invite from the MD/DC/VA area next time to come on one of these runs. We had a small group but it was short notice.
In attendance were my '73 911E, my dad in his '02 996, and a '96 993TT with Autothority chip, a '98 F355, a 928, and a Saab 9-3. Shortly after we started, we split into two groups and I led the group with the F355 and 993TT.
Now for the pictures:
The parked shots were taken by myself. The motion shots were taken from inside my '73 by my friend Jeff Shepherd.
Let me know if you want to come next time! The drive was around the Anne Arundel County area of Maryland but we drive in Baltimore County sometimes as well.
Nick,
Nice picts. Rennlist + DTM kids had me wondering how this was going to turn out. Having trolled that site at times, I'm a little nervous about going on "drives" organized some of that sites members. Although I admit I had fun (even though it got a bit out of hand) on a big Audiworld/DTM meet and drive two plus years ago. You seem to run a safer ship though. I'd definitely like to join you on one of your next runs. Please keep me informed? Thanks.
You and your father plan on doing any PCA DE events
this year? If so, I'll see you there as well.

Thanks. Actually, though, this wasn't the DTM drive. That was yesterday. Today's drive was just a small get-together between some Porsche/Ferrari friends. I want to do drives like today in the future with the Rennlist folks.
I think I might do some DE events... but not sure yet. Are they as hard to get into as BMWCCA? I tried several times to get into the BMWCCA DE's to no avail.

let me know when you are organizing the next drive--it looks like fun!
p.s. great pictures!
Hey Nick,
PCA events are booked early but you stand a decent chance of getting in, especially if you sign up for VIR. VIR is a must in my eyes. Mid-Ohio and Watkins Glen are easy to get into as well, but Summit Point is tough. Also the events are cheaper than most other clubs from what I've seen. Go to www.pcapotomac.org and you can find the upcoming year's schedule in "Porsche Talk" I believe. I've wanted to try the BMWCCA events as well, but I hear what you've confirmed; they're impossible to get into.
How was the DTM drive on Saturday?

It was fun. Unfortunately we only had one car from Rennlist other than myself, Ken in his C4S. We had fun though. However, next time I think I am going to distinguish between drives that I organize for Rennlist and those that I organize for DTM. The Porsche guys tend to take a different (read: better) attitude
A couple of the BMW drivers were doing a lot of complaining.
Nick,
I apologize for not making it on Saturday....I had all intentions of going, but about 4am my son woke up with a fever...the Sunday run looked like alot of fun. Wish I would've known.
The TT pic with the caliper is worthy of the rennlist homepage... it's really worth a thousand words!
I do envy you guys for your group gatherings, i certainly dont have that kind of groups neither the beautiful roads.. But again, no speed limits and no regulations here gives me a rather cool 'plus'!

I will be! The DTM drive was great fun and I only missed this one because my family was in town for the holidays.
Cheers,
Ken
