Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Has anyone had any luck using Open GSM (or other such data source) to create an SD card that the PCCM+ would recognize? These are, supposedly, nothing more than TomTom files after all. If not, I'd be willing to buy any older US and W Europe SD card. I don't need up to date maps (I have Waze for that) but just as a rough backup.

POST 2Original post

also interested if you found a solution to this. How much is the map data from the dealer? I dont really want or need it, I keep offline maps on my phone anyway, but redundancy is always nice considering I go deep into the middle of nowhere.

Alas, as you see, no responses or PMs. I guess folks recycled their microSD cards, or are terrified of the IP lawyers (doubt it, considering the threads related to the PIWIS clones, etc!) I'm currently stationed in Germany, where the map prices (and no updates) feel obscene, something like 400 Euros IIRC.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
