Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I got a little feed up of waiting with no information - I proceeded with the purchase of a slightly used C4 Cabriolet, '99 model with just 6,000 miles on the clock - I only collected the car 2 weeks ago.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I am there at last. It has taken several weeks & lots of calls to Porsche UK to get all the booklets needed & advice.

All I have do, is wait till March for delivery. <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />
You should also get the deviated stitching and some aluminum package. Make it look even sharper. Perhaps even the option for the colored rims, go for black in my own opinion. Good luck!

remember that at resale the expensive options like nav add virtually nothing to the residual value
if you keep cars a long time this may not be a factor.
i would consider adding rain sensor wipers--they're fairly cheap, work great and i note you live in england! <img src="graemlins/roflmao.gif" border="0" alt="[hiha]" />
btw, i would't have bothered with the aluminum gizmos on my car if i hadn't been buying it off the showroom floor. imo, the aluminum geegaws are overpriced and useless <img src="graemlins/c.gif" border="0" alt="[ouch]" />
finally, stick with grey--the black looks dirty within minutes after being washed <img src="graemlins/c.gif" border="0" alt="[ouch]" /> <img src="graemlins/c.gif" border="0" alt="[ouch]" />

Seal Grey Metalic</strong><hr></blockquote>
I was going for the seal grey, the last minute I changed to Arctic silver. Seal grey is a good colour in pictures but when I saw it in real,it looked as if old. In my opinion if you like it dark go for black, if not Silver is the best.
Congratsh in advance and good luck

Hi Max
Good choice, I placed a deposit and ordered a C4S Cabriolet some 12 months ago, my choice of colour would be Seal Grey. I got a little feed up of waiting with no information - I proceeded with the purchase of a slightly used C4 Cabriolet, '99 model with just 6,000 miles on the clock - I only collected the car 2 weeks ago. The car has Sport Design wheels and is Artic Silver, it goes with out saying I am thrilled.
However, I would have choosen black leather interior but the car I purchased has Metropole Blue. It's very dark, almost black but for me it works very well with Artic Silver, better I feel than black - it's the best choice.
As for seal Grey against Silver (bearing in mind - mine is Artic Silver), I do feel Seal Grey would be a better option. Silver has been a little over done in the UK, starting with Merc's and now across the board for the last few years.
As for the rain sensors, usually not needed in the UK, (Ha) but if a small cost why not.
Hope this helps. Don't forget your tracker !!
Good luck and just in time for Spring.
Maxwell, sounds like you have a great car ordered. I don't know how your tastes run, but if it were me, I would break up the all black interior with a little carbon fiber like steering wheel, brake handle and shift ****. I would also consider exterior color front console to also break up the black. I know the aluminum package gets a little overdone, but I don't think that something I described is overdone. mine is Met Blue, but it gives you some idea. (and yes, it does add to the cost and not the resale, but I assume you're going to live with it for a few years.
Hi Max
Just dropped back on this again, if I could also choose - from production. White or silver dials, your car sounds awesome, looks set up for track also. The coloured dials would be fitting - I feel, the post market for these is also very active, but theres nothing like getting them from production. I would then consider Techart Drilled Ally Pedals, see your other post from DonW - you will see the pedals, look cool also. I believe this is a post item, and not from Porsche, I am currently looking to fit these on mine.
Let us know how you get on.
