I need to start a race bike that has no starter but i have the rollers for it, they require one drive wheel of a car to be placed on them to get them moving...my question is assuming i have the room to fit my 285 tire next to the bike on the rollers, will my porsche spin just that one wheel while the other is on solid ground or not? this could end with my porsche running over my ducati, not good, so please answer correctly lol thanks in advance

PSM will not allow you to do that.. If you remove psm, according to the manual, ABS will hold the spinning wheel IF both wheels are not spinning, otherwise ABS will not react.. In your case, PSM off & One wheel spinning: ABS will REACT!!! My suggestion, dont do it. Waz

waz, i have a '99 cab, i don't think i have psm...maybe should is just go rent a toyota tercel for $30 instead lol? do most modern cars have trannies that will allow this?

If it aint PSM, then surely you got T/C like I do.. works on the same basics.. So, i really really suggest you go get a 1978 Datsun 120Y and am dead sure it doesnt have any diff-lock, that i can swear on my great great grandfather's grave!!! Waz!

If so, just pick up/make a starter and ditch the Delta Rollers (I got so tired of mine when I was racing). Besides, you can use the portable starter by yourself (if your help happens to be off girl-watching/being girl-watched).
