Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just purchased a 2001 911 Carrera 4 Arctic silver with custom Red Boxster leather, advanced technic package, navigation/Porsch communication mgt., 18" classic wheel package, design package, etc. MSRP $99K. Car built 05/01 has 7,100 miles and I paid $65K. Does this price seem reasonable to guys?? Really enjoying the car . . .

POST 2Original post

I just purchased a 2001 C4, speed yellow with 29,000 miles from the local Porsche dealer for $55,900. A car wholesaler I know said he could have gotten me an equivalent car for the low 50,s. Hope this info helps. I am making many mods for track use. Just came back from a DE. The car was great. I used to use a BoxsterS on the track. Enjoy!

POST 3Original post

Gee, don't second guess yourself, especially if you did your homework...if it's what you wanted and you're happy with the car itself, then it's a done deal. End of story!

POST 4Original post

Price sounds quite good to me. In October I sold my '00 C4 Cpe for $60k. It had 17k miles and MSRP was $81k. Biarritz C4

POST 5Original post

I "bought" my '01 C4 cab MSRP of $99270 for $90k exactly two years ago with 5k miles on it. It now has 28.5 k miles on it. I guess I paid its costing me $1.00 mile in depreciation!!!!! At least I'm having a ball! I guess when my lease beater laon is up I'll buy another one with low miles. The way I'm driving it I'll have 100k miles on it in 4 years!
