Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Do you use the factory bearing and seat when you install these with their factory spring perch? Thanks Joey

POST 2Original post

Careful with these Vorschlag camber plates if you have an AWD 996. The monoballs don't have enough angle for the shock piston rod which sits at a large angle. This puts side load on the piston rod and will end up breaking it. For RWD cars the strut piston is straight up and they work fine.

POST 4Original post

Assuming you're using these with stock-style springs: No, you don't need the factory bearing and seat. The camber plates essentially replaces everything above the spring.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

They fit nicely. Tons of adjustments. thanks Joey
