Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Waz, Good thing to look out for, mine smoked ( large cloud) on start-up after being run hard @ Watkins Glenn this past July.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Just took it out for a spin last night & noticed heavy dark 4"dia spot on the floor under the Trans/engine area Again! Have call into dealer to see just what's up. Can't get a loaner till the 3rd., but not a daily driver!
Just hit 9K (took long trip down to Carolina's & Fla. last March)
Anyone else having oil leak problems? <img src="graemlins/cussing.gif" border="0" alt="[grrrrrrr]" />

I assume this is the second time around for you since you said AGAIN. Did they put in the redesigned seals the last time it happened? I track quite a bit and only when driven hard it would leak some oil about the size of half dollar the next day and then it stops. Didn't think too much about it til when I heard from the service department that there is a new redesign of the seals so after hearing about it I told them my little leak and they replaced it anyway. I'll be going to a DE this Sunday(Tracknutz) and I'll let you know how the new seals hold up if the seals you had done previously was of original design. Regards and good luck. Mike
I have an '02 cab that is a daily driver. When I brought it in for the 15k service the dealer advised that the main seals needed to be replaced. Since then, no problems and I'm up to almost 20k
Thanks, for input on new seals, seems to me the 1st time was about the end of break in period, & bothered the heck out of me ( what would happpen when I got on it?) Took delivery Feb '02, Going in the 3rd. Will see what's up then.
thanks
Buck

Buck,
You might want to check that you dont have excess engine oil.. I think this is what started my seal leaking. I had the dashboard oil level showing above the upper level.. Now i made sure the oil level shows exactly at the upper mark, leaving one blank non-lit mark...

Waz, Good thing to look out for, mine smoked ( large cloud) on start-up after being run hard @ Watkins Glenn this past July. I quickly learned not to top off the oil! My tech guy says to run it half up the dip stick, no problem after that.
FYI- I'd also let the engine idle 3-4 minutes after being pushed for the rest of the 2 Track days. Now I use my 964 as my track meister!
