Was driving into SF last night and 1 mile north of the Golden Gate the brake light came on It stayed on until I got to the parking garage. After I parked I switched off the car and started it again to see if the brake light would come on. It did not. It did not come on again during the drive back home. I have not driven the car today. Any idea what might have caused this? Should I do anything? I'm inclined to wait till it happens again before taking action but would love to get 2nd, 3rd, 4th,...opions.

the most obvious are: 1- check your brake oil reservoir is not getting to empty 2- check your brake pads are not worn (front ones get worn faster than rear) 3- check the handbrake switch is working properly wael 996 c2 99
