Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Leading evidence: 'Repair *' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Repair *' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

For example, the interactivity of the map is quite nice now - easy(ish) to use the map like an atlas and scroll around in 8 directions using the numeric key pad.

Paul, for one i know it has a separate keypad,so you can easily dial numbers, instead of using the scroll as in the old system.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I've got a new 2003 Carrera 2 coming next month in Arctic Silver with 18" Carrera's, metropole blue, xenons, psm, pcm2, bose, ali gear/handbrake. Counting down the days at the moment. Anybody got any nice pics of a vehicle to match to keep me going ?
Anybody got any experience of the new PCM ? is it much better than the old - and is the BOSE system as good as the dealer tells me ?
Comments appreciated.
Greg
Greg, I've got to wait until April for my Polar Silver Carrera 4. Similar spec to yours but Black Leather interior.
Try this site for pics (many are Boxter, but there are plenty of 911's there too) - http://www.whiteson.org/boxster/gallery/
Greg,
The following pics are a brief of my Dubai Summer 2002, other pics are deemed censored and could make me lose my rennlist membership..! hehehe
Ok, it's a CS4 but close to your specs.. The Bose is as good as they say, very clear sound and the bass is really awesome..

PCM2 looks to be a real improvment over the orig, which I have and like alot.
The new PCM has a larger screen
Only requires 2 CD's for the entire US instead of 7.
No more dedicated CD reader, It will buffer your route and free up the CD for tunes...
Wish I could upgrade, but because of the MOST bus, sadly it is impossible
Gregg, I've got an 02 AS/MB C4 Cab and I have plenty of pics that show the interior and front end. While it's not a coupe, it may satisfy your "need" until your Coupe arrives. Hope it's soon.
PS: I did find a couple of AS coupes, but there not C2's

Hi Greg,
I tried both PCM2 and the new Bose system just last week before putting in the final spec for my new C4S. Bottom line - I ordered both. Some details below - balanced with good points and bad points.
Re: How well does PCM2 work compared with PCM
I've had a few plays with the PCM2 now. If you were OK with the original PCM, you'll *definitely* like it - it's a significant improvement.
Compared with the original PCM, the new navigation software "feels" faster, and has more features. For example, the interactivity of the map is quite nice now - easy(ish) to use the map like an atlas and scroll around in 8 directions using the numeric key pad. Zooming in and out (i.e. changing map scale)is pretty fast.
Overall the new navigation system is not blisteringly quick, but much more usable than the original.
The phone module (only relevant to Europe I think?) is also *much* better aesthetically. It now takes a small SIM (the chip slots into a small pop out draw), as opposed to the old-fashioned SIM card slot which was nasty.
Re: new digital Bose system
My feeling was that it was "good enough", and worth the money. I found the FM radio quality a bit disappointing - lacking sparkle (but it almost always is on car stereos).
The software integration on PCM2 with the stereo system is nice - very easy to configure the sound.
