Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi, everyone. There's a rear spoiler I'm interested in but the manufacturer, GT3 Tek, may have gone out of business. That said, a third party seller appears to still have it in stock. (Link's below.) Regardless, status and source don't matter to me; what matters is that I don't send my money down a rabbit hole for something that might not actually exist. Anyone dealt with a similar combination of manufacturer and seller before? https://porsche-parts-store.myshopif...0polyurethane#

POST 2Original post

Pay with cedit card.....if it doesnt ship the contest charges. The process works. Most likely the company will just refund the $ when they find out their non-updated inventory is wrong. Happens a lot....expecially when they have the wrong price listed. I get a refund and an appology for being oit of stock, then a few days later its back in stock at the corrected higher price.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

That's a good point—thanks.

POST 4Original post

I think GT3tek merged or was bought out by Better Bodies in California . Check the Better Bodies website . I agree pay with CC and reduce the worry . I have several GT3tek/Better Bodies parts on my 986S and 996 C4 with no complaints .

POST 6Original post

I dealt with Better Bodies Motorsport Armondo a few times with no issues, I would just go to his website direct and get what you need. here a link to the spoiler. I never dealt with PorscheBAY. If you call Armondo direct he'll give you a better price. [phone removed] 996 Wings – VOSSTEK

POST 7Original post

That website looks awfully suspicious. I wouldn't buy from it at all. As others have said, go to Armando. My experience with Better Bodies/ Armando started out great. I bought a full body kit (front, sides rear and wing) and then I had some issues with the sideskirts sagging even though they were installed better than 'taping' and a few screws per their instructions and he was of no help so I can't say I like their business model, but I do like the kit (once I spent more $ getting the sideskirts properly supported).

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
