Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.

It was up for the clean only, I like to ensure every part of it gets cleaned/lubricated

Went on a fun run with the Eurotopia folks weekend before last and had a blast through Malibu.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Nice pics!
I haven't done any good drives with my 996 so far this year.... I'll be heading out into the Blue Ridge and Smoky mountains in a couple of weeks, but sadly the M3 will be going with me on that trip.
Oh! By the way, this is my car to the right: 2000 C2. We work side-by-each and got worked up in the last 6 months to buy our 1st 911s. Big smiles so far as you can see!
Happy summer driving to all ... we certainly will!
Martin
welcome and congrats to both of you. I had a similar experience around
march 2010; three of us at work had our first 996's side by side. I knew they
were entry level 911's for us blue collar folk, everyone else thought we were
rolling in the big bucks..lol...
So true! There are more than a dozen of Ford F150s in this 'chain-linked' parking lot that are more than twice what I paid for my C2 Coup and yet, these picker-upper owners still think we are the big shots. Ah! Well!
CEO: What year is your Porsche again? 2009-10?
ME: It's a 2004.
CEO: (incredulously) Hmmm. Doesn't look like it.
ME: I'm sure.
CEO: Regardless, it doesn't look like it.
I always figured your average Joe was blind to the age of these cars given the 911's evolutionary design but I had no clue just how unaware people were until I bought my C4S.

Summer time, here in Belgium. Took the car for a drive this morning. Stopped at a parking lot to take some pictures.
Enjoying the weather and car offcourse
Was parked (at the far end) getting groceries last night. Came out to find a nice 1959 356 cab parked almost directly beside me. Nice! Will post the pics tonight!
Thanks! They're actually (gasp!) Plasti-dipped.
I only painted the driver side to decide whether I liked the black wheels on the car - I do, hands down, especially with the red calipers. I will get all four powder coated a semi-gloss when I'm due for new tires.
Nope - 442 Sqn Search and Rescue @ Comox RCAF Station on Vancouver Island in BC - most beautiful place in the world. Well the parking lot ain't so hot!!
Not the Porsche but I haven't had a chance to take any decent pics of it this Summer. This is one of my son with the Sonett at a local car show over Father's Day weekend...
its a ruf vin. ive been to one earlier this year when it was cold in the bakery parking lot where the model-t showed up along with the tax dr and the new mclaren. ive wanted to goto more but i either forget or dont know the schedule. when is the next one?
A car for all seasons... This is a spot I pass on my way to work every day. Sometimes I stop and snap a picture. Today I snapped one for summer, so now I have all four seasons.

. Went on a fun run with the Eurotopia folks weekend before last and had a blast through Malibu. First summer run
Excuse the water mark
During a fun "spirited" drive up and down Tantalus last week. My friends MCoupe, and another friends 1M. Sorry for the crappy quality cell phone pics, didn't have my DSLR with me.
Cars and Coffee, Vintage Park in Spring TX. My cab with the 'new' wheels and someone who walked in front of my camera and threw off the camera's autofocus.
Beaches and mountains, gotta love Malibu.... except when they get you with a stop sign ticket leaving the park where you took pictures of your freshly detailed Porsche...
