Had my 996 at a local PCA autocross yesterday. I suction-cupped my Canon camera to the car and got some interesting footage, though I apologize that some of it is shaky... I guess there are better cameras for this sort of thing. Also, trying to splice different camera angles into one clip is new to me... so I also apologize for the schizophrenic editing! Driving my 996 at an autocross - YouTube But the important part is I had fun and the car performed beautifully (as always) and even rewarded me with the FTD.

There's a video thread in the autocross subforum with a lot of other videos, for those interested: https://rennlist.com/forums/autocros...eo-thread.html GoPros on a good mount give the best video, but cell phones are great for data acquisition as well as video. I couldn't find a good mount for my newest phone (HTC Droid DNA) but discovered the ghetto method of rubber banding it to my rearview mirror actually works rather well. If you have an android phone, check out ALapHD.
