Hello, Can someone recommend a good shop in the Atlanta GA area for doing a PPI on a 996? I'm currently unable to even go look at the car, so I would be relying on the inspection to find any issues Also, does anyone have any experience with this dealer "The Motorcar Collection" in Atlanta? I have not heard of these guys before and I did a fairly extensive search for two different P-cars in the past year. Goldcrest is a race shop in Atlanta that does extremely good work. They would be excellent on the mechanical side, but not sure how thorough they would be on interior/convenience type stuff. I take my street car to Hennessy Porsche which I have been very happy with. Not sure what my week looks like yet, but it's not too far from my office. Send me a PM.

I assume you are looking at the '03 4S. I have also been looking for a 996 (my preference is a cab) and I saw this one pop up the other day. Looks like a really nice car. You've got great taste. Good luck!

I didn't - they came highly recommended by some other Rennlisters so I had them do my exhaust mods. They have a commercial side and a race side of the business and are very thorough in their approach. Apologize for not addressing your exact request for a PPI.

Thanks everyone for your input! Just had the PPI done, and have decided not to buy it. Too much work required. The PPI was done at Hennessy and they were excellent. The hunt continues...
