Recently acquired an 04 GT3. Trying to sort out a most annoying rattle. Definitely pinpointed it to the headliner dome light assembly. Light pressure on the assembly = no more rattle. I took it apart and don't see any obvious rattle points. will re-assemble with a few "shims" and test. BUT who can tell me what this small black button is for? some type of reset for the alarm system???? Thanks Craig

Don't believe my car has that (02 4S). I spy deviated stitching and demand pics of the car!

Taken from another post: The button adjusts the brightness of 2 LEDs: LED on the driver's door handle (which illiminates the ingition switch) and 2) the LED on the front of the dome light (closest to the windshield) which illiminates the upper center console (horse shoe switches).

success! a bit of blue tape applied to rub points = no more rattle.
