Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi, I found a nice Lapis Blue convertible for sale. However, it has the 4-spoke steering wheel, and I have a thing for the three spoke. Anyone know if it is an easy DIY to change the steering wheel? I'm really only concerned about the air bag as I want want to make sure it is still 100% operable, and of course does not blow in my face while changing, but I'm thinking maybe it is a simple swap with sometype of sensor/connector related to the airbag? Onto Ebay I go to check pricing for tan three spokes... Thanks, Todd
