Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

You can have mine as soon as I figure out what to replace them with (tray I hope).

I normally would wedge the coffee between the passenger seat and the center console where the seat belt hooks onto. Works for me and with how new cupholders are located on the new models can you imagine coffe spilling all over the car on a sudden stop? At least coffee where mine is located only spill on the around the seat area. Regards. Mike

I'll trade my wife's minivan to your 996 if you can't drive without a cupholder! Cheesh.

I love my 996 without cupholders. As I tell my GF and other passengers... no bevies allowed.
Yea I could drive the X5 to work but then I'd have to let my wife drive the Porsche. I was just surprised that I didn't notice no cupholders until day three of driving the car. I don't typically drink in the car anyway, I just like to bring coffee from home to work and I didn't have a place to put it for the ride. Flying Finn I can't believe that you admitted to owning a mini van

Actually, it's my wife's, but it's not so bad if you 'have to' take you, your family & friend's family (about 7-8 people total)to Orlando or Key West every time when they come from Finland...
Well, actually, we've said that after next summer, I'll trade it in for and Audi, BMW or something similar sedan and we'll rent a minivan or SUV for those trips (enough is enough!
).
So, what do you use you SUV for? Off road adventures?
I would be to scared of getting stuck to take the X5 "SUV" off road. I use it for pulling my ski boat and transporting the dog to and from daycare
Yes daycare, my wife is a freak!!!

Well I replaced my cupholders. I put the HVAC controls where the cupholders were and a pocket where the HVAC controls were.
If anybody wants my old cupholders, they are welcome to them!

Actually you can purchase the cupholder that is on the 2001's from your local Porsche dealer. It fits in the center console. About $200.00 I believe. Having said that, I have it on mine and think they are not very good looking. The 02's look great, seemly better enginered but not retro fitable.
Or you can have mine for free.
