Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have an extra set of lug bolts for sale. (makes wheel changes LIGHTENING FAST... well at least 20 sec. quicker per wheel, and hey you can get back to that beer, or track prep that much sooner!) $25 plus shipping... PM for Paypal address.

POST 2Original post

I got rid of mine a long time ago. If somebody steals my wheels, that's a great excuse to upgrade!

POST 5Original post

Yep! I just got rid of mine and put in regular lug bolts. Sheesh... I think the whole car is more likely to get stolen, rather than just the wheels. I s'pose that may depend on where ya live, though. At least now I don't have to be paranoid about losing the bolt key.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

^ yep... I agree. Though you have a set that I like (a little biased).

POST 7Original post

I think wheel theft was prevalent in the 1980's but I don't hear about it anymore. Of course maybe that's because of all the wheel locks we added back then I suppose!?

POST 8Original post

I broke my wheel lock key one day so when I took the car to the dealer for a track inspection I just had them switch out some old lug bolts from the trash bin. Been happy that this happened since it's much easier to maintain the car now.
