Interior was one of the deal closers, no issues and very clean/nice.

I purchased it from a dealer, and with a clean history.

Hi everyone:
New to rennlist, new to 996, but not new to Porsches.
So far, this forum is great and a wealth of information.
I have a 99' C2, black with savannah beige interior. I purchased it from a dealer, and with a clean history.
So far the mods are pretty "normal". K&N filter was first. Second gear had the "pop out" issue on occasion, clutch and trans were fine, so I opted for the Gbox detent and swepco fluid. Shifts great, zero pop out. And recently, the exhaust.
Well, that always seems to be one of the largest topics on any forum, and the most popular mod.
I read, looked, listened, and a choice sort of fell into my lap. Mille Miglias. I got them used, but solid, and the guy included factory brackets already installed. The finish, other than the tips, were scorched the usual "sepia" color, but I did some polishing, and brought back some of the shine; i was impatient and wanted them installed. The tips are larger than normal, and fit the bumper cutouts perfectly, and are angled and cut to match the contour. The muflers are lighter than stock by 10lbs, but are sturdy and thick. The tips are welded on, and there is no adjustment, but there is none needed, perfect fit.
Wow! The sound great! Low rumble at idle, mean and angry through 3k, and under throttle and above 3k, they scream.
