Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Top is currently down. When i tried to put the top up, the Clamshell goes up, then nothing. Thoughts? Thanks!

POST 2Original post

I just ran into the same scenerio. In my case the passenger flap didn't flip open (open micro switch). But since the top was down the only way up is go into the manual mode (see owners manual for squence). Remove the back panel (behind the rear seats, 2 screws) and the special allen wrench is right there. That same allen wrench fits the key to lower or raise the flap (if yours is stuck). Look closely under the hard top peg cover and underneath you can see the key to the side. If I had noticed the flap hanging up before I went into the manual mode I might have saved myself a trip to the dealer. You need the top up to access all of the top mechanicals. I ended up replacing the flap and heading to the dealer to re-program. Hope this helps, good luck!

Thanks. It's going to my Indy this morning. I assume a micro switch but will report back.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

One of the rear seat belts got tangled up with the top mechanism behind the sear. They removed the seat belt. Reinstalled it. Recalibrated the top. All good.
