Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have just added this to my order, but guess I should have asked for some opinions first. So, if you have Option 982 Soft-Lok Leather, how do you like it? <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

POST 3Original post

Love it! The seats are comfortable enough for several hours of riding without a break. They are solid leather, not perforated. Comparitively speaking they are not a very expensive upgrade/option urb

POST 4Original post

I have "supple leather". I don't know if that's the same but it's nice and a relatively cheap upgrade.

POST 5Original post

Love it (supple leather). Looks and feels more comfortable, and also looks like the upgrade that it is over the std perforated leather.

POST 6Original post

supple leather rocks!! <img src="graemlins/bigok.gif" border="0" alt="[thumbsup]" /> cheap too!! <img src="graemlins/jumper.gif" border="0" alt="[jumper]" /> <img src="graemlins/jumper.gif" border="0" alt="[jumper]" />

POST 7Original post

To my personal taste it looks "Lexus like", and not very sporty, but I appear to be in a minority! I prefer the perforated.

POST 8Original post

I too am very comfortable with the supple leather. I have though heard some complaints that it may crease over the years of sitting on it. I have had my car for over a year and have had no problems it's cosmetic appearance.

POST 10Original post

Yep, had it on both my last two (before changing to GT3 seats on current). One tip though, use a soapy watered wash cloth (not soaking wet) to clean them. If you use the traditional leather cleaner and conditioner, you WILL ruin them. IOW, the leather will stretch and become wrinkled looking if you use that stuff.
