Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Its just the spot welds on the body shell failing, once they reach a critical level, the car will disintegrate at high speed, but its covered by warranty
Can you define cracking? P-cars do have a tendency to creak/rattle but it's not obtrusive. Regards. Mike
It does not sound normal. Bring it back to the dealer. I had some noises in the cab, and it turned nothing more then broken clamps. On the lighter side; it could be money hidden behind door plastic <img src="graemlins/roflmao.gif" border="0" alt="[hiha]" />
I would suggest this. I had similar problems with my '99 996 C2. The dealer had it fixed under warranty. The dealer sent me to a body shop. The body shop removed the headliner and applied new adhesive foam to the area near the rear windshield. I was told that the adhesive foam that Porsche used was defective. This solved the problem. I sounds like it is coming from areas other than the headliner area because of the acoustics and size of the cabin.
